The punters here in the Transfer Tavern have been glued to the TV of late and not just because of the copious amounts of Premier League football on offer.
Indeed, our famous four walls are packed to the rafters this evening thanks to a FIFA 18 game between Brentford and Norwich, set up by both clubs’ sponsor, LeoVegas.
The two sides met in Championship action earlier this season, with the Canaries claiming three points at Griffin Park after a 1-3 away win, though the Bees have been handed the chance to enact some revenge on their East Anglian counterparts. Battling for the LeoVegas Trophy, it’s sure to be a feisty affair, as any FIFA game tends to be these days.
As if battling on the field wasn’t enough, the likes of Harrison Reed and James Maddison of Norwich will take on Nico Yennaris and Romaine Sawyers of Brentford to battle for the LeoVegas Trophy as professional footballers try their hand at FIFA.
The full video will soon be released, but to really get a feeling for what the LeoVegas Trophy is all about, here’s a look at the preview.
