West Brom have found the Championship to be a tough division and one that changes every week.
With no consistency in results for many teams, the Championship often has a number of teams that could get promoted from it, with this season being no different.
Darren Moore has recently seen his Baggies side drop out of the top six and that could lead him into the January transfer market, eyeing some more talented players.
As well as the rumours that Harvey Barnes could be returning to Leicester West Brom could be turning to Manchester City, asking for the services of wonderkid Phil Foden in his place.
Foden, who is valued at £13.5 million on Transfermarkt, is without question one of the most exciting youngsters on the planet right now.
He hasn’t been given too much responsibility at Man City to quickly become a first-team star due to the quality ahead of him in the team already but everyone at the club holds extremely high hopes for the Englishman.
Foden has appeared five times in the Premier League this season but only for a total of 64 minutes. The ever impressive youngster has shown exactly what he can do in the EFL Cup, when scoring and providing an assist in the two cup games so far for Manchester City.
Especially if attacking midfielder Harvey Barnes was to leave the club due to being brought back to Leicester, Phil Foden could provide the ultimate replacement or even improvement should he bring out his best form.
West Brom will be hoping to quickly make a Premier League return and that could be made a lot easier with a player of Phil Foden’s quality in their side.
