West Brom only without Matt Phillips and James Morrison

West Bromwich Albion will be desperate to secure automatic promotion in the current campaign, having come on leaps and bounds under Darren Moore.

The Baggies currently find themselves five points off the automatic promotion places, with a game in hand over all of the teams above them, so they’re currently in a very promising position.

Indeed, West Bromwich Albion will welcome Nottingham Forest to the Hawthorns later on today in their next Championship fixture. Forest managed to secure an impressive victory against Brentford last time out, so the Baggies will need to be at their best if they are to bag all three points.

Supporters received positive news prior to today’s game, as according to BBC Sport’s pre-match team news, West Brom came through their last game against Stoke unscathed and are only without Matt Phillips and James Morrison.

So, with the Midlands club having no fresh injury concerns, it looks as if Phillips, who is valued at £8.1 million (by Transfermarkt) and Morrison are the only casualties at this moment in time, as they both continue to recover from ankle injuries.

THE VERDICT:

The Baggies will expect nothing less than three points today with no new injury worries, as they looked extremely impressive last time out against a tough Stoke outfit.

There’s no doubt that Forest will be looking to take all three points back to the City Ground, but Darren Moore’s side should be too much to handle for Martin O’Neill and his men if things go to plan.
