West Bromwich Albion will host Sheffield United at The Hawthorns in Saturday’s evening game as both sides battle it out at the top of the Championship.
The Baggies and The Blades are both competing for an automatic promotion spot back to the Premier League, with just one point between the two sides in fourth and second respectively.
Darren Moore will want to see his side build on their hard-fought win against Queens Park Rangers in midweek and their chances will have been handed a significant boost ahead of the game.
According to a match preview by Sky Sports, West Brom will be able to call upon Dwight Gayle for the match after he completed the two-game suspension he was handed down.
The striker was handed a retrospective ban following the draw to Nottingham Forest after he appeared to deceive the referee into awarding a penalty.
Moore could also make a number of changes from the midweek team, with the likes of Gareth Barry and Rekeem Harper likely to make returns to the starting line up.
Having Gayle back available for the game against Sheffield United will be a huge boost for Moore and West Brom on Saturday evening.
The on-loan Newcastle United striker has been in fine form this season for The Baggies, having scored 16 goals in his 26 Championship matches so far.
Moore will know how important this match can be in deciding who gets an automatic promotion spot at the end of the season and will want to see his side come out on top.
