West Brom team news: Moore has no selection concerns ahead of Preston trip

West Bromwich Albion will make the trip to Deepdale on Saturday as they look to continue their charge to the top of the table with a win against Preston North End.

The Baggies currently sit third in the Championship and are within touching distance of Leeds United and Middlesbrough.

Darren Moore’s side will know a win will help to close that gap and they will be heading into the game with some great form behind them.

Despite having been beaten by Crystal Palace in the League Cup earlier in the week, The Hawthorns outfit had managed to win their last two league fixtures and in comfortable fashion.

And, according to a match preview by Sky Sports, it appears that Albion could be prepared to go back to the squad that won those matches.

Moore made ten changes for the clash in midweek, which saw James Morrison manage to get 90 minutes under his belt in his first appearance since August.

The Baggies have no concerns ahead of the game and will be looking to take full advantage of a Preston side that are lacking in confidence.

The Verdict:

Moore will be delighted to know that he has a fully-fit squad to choose from for the away trip to Deepdale.

Although there are no easy games in the Championship, the match against rock-bottom Preston will give the Baggies the chance to close the gap on Leeds and Middlesbrough.

Morrison managing to come through the 90 minutes against Palace will have also been an added boost, although it is likely he will be replaced in the starting line-up on Saturday.
