The Leeds fans in the Transfer Tavern have been calling for their club to take some action in the transfer market before they renew their season tickets. The fans have been waiting for a goalkeeper and Matej Vydra to sign, although they’ve only been given the option to buy their season tickets, with a link to the Leeds website.

Life promised to be so good for The Whites this summer. The club secured Marcelo Bielsa early on in the window and would have hoped that his reputation would precede him as the club looked to sign players who would be desperate to play under the spectacular Argentine. However, they’re yet to sign a player and it looks like they could miss out on a number of their transfer targets as they’ve waited too long to make a move for players.
Now though, the Elland Road faithful will be left in limbo as they prepare to renew their season tickets. A number of fans won’t want to renew unless there is a statement of intent from the club and so far they’re yet to see that. A fee of around £10 million is reportedly going to be enough to secure Matej Vydra and if the club would fork that our to bring him in then it would fill the fans with more confidence and convince them to renew their season tickets.

As you can see, the fans are reluctant to buy season tickets until they see some transfer action for their club.
