Wolves would be crazy not to sign £19.8m-rated Premier League cult-hero this summer

The Wolves fans in the Transfer Tavern are thrilled to be back in the Premier League after a 6 year absence and feel that this time around they could be there to stay.

Wolves stormed their way to the Championship title this season, much to the help of the huge backing their owners have provided. If high-profile players are to continue joining Wolves, our punters think that Mario Balotelli, who is valued at £19.8 million on Transfermarkt, could be an inspired signing to fire them to Premier League prosperity.

The ex-Manchester City and Liverpool forward has been in wonderful form during his two years at French side Nice, scoring 26 goals in 37 appearances this season. Mario Balotelli has undoubtedly always had the ability to perform at the highest level, just not necessarily the application needed to be successful.

At 27-years-old, Balotelli is reaching the peak of his form and Wolves would be silly not to consider his signature on a free transfer this summer. Wolves have a quality array of attacking options already but they all lack one vital ingredient – no Premier League experience between them.

Players like Diego Jota, Leo Bonatini and Ivan Cavaleiro have well and truly shown their value to the team this season, with their goals alone having a massive impact on Wolves reaching the top flight again. However, Mario Balotelli has the experience in England’s top flight, proving once again that he could be a serious transfer target for the newly promoted side this summer.

Thoughts Wolves fans, would Mario Balotelli be a good signing?
