Leeds United currently find themselves storming ahead in the race for the Championship title, as a number of their closest challengers all slipped up last time out.
The Whites won’t accept anything less than promotion in the current campaign as the Yorkshire club have established themselves as the team to beat.
One position that has been a big problem for Leeds United this season has been in-between the sticks, which is why Leeds United reportedly (as per the Daily Star), want to finalise a deal for Southampton’s Fraser Forster.
Indeed, the Englishman has struggled to work his way into Ralph Hasenhuttl’s plans and was a spectator during Mark Hughes’ reign at the club, so it comes as no surprise that he’s looking to force an exit.
But, there’re other improvements required, so these TWO players must follow Forster to Elland Road…
Jefferson Montero has established himself as one of the most exciting wingers in the Championship in the current campaign, with two assists to his name.
But, he hasn’t been able to force his way into Graham Potter’s plans in recent times after a bright start to proceedings, with substitute appearances being the norm.
Therefore, the Whites should look to bring the South American to Elland Road as he could easily replace Samu Saiz, along with providing them with enough firepower to go on and secure the title.
Gyasi Zardes has established himself as one of the standout performers in the MLS in recent years, with goals and assists ever-present in his game. The 27-year-old can provide pace, power and a great finishing ability, with the versatility to play anywhere across the front three.
Indeed, the exciting American would provide Kemar Roofe with much-needed support and has the ability to bring something different in the final third in the form of assists, so he is well worth the purchase.
