# Visser’s Christmas Cracker : The Top 10 Champions League Group Stage Goals 2010

[![](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/champions-league-150x150.jpg)](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/2010/11/premiership/the-top-4-from-the-perspective-of-an-everton-fan/attachment/champions-league/)Well the last 16 draw was just last week and I began to get all excited about the prospect of Arsenal / Barca, Inter / Bayern and of course, Spurs / AC Milan. That’s when it hit me, maybe I should compile a list of all my favourite goals so far this year! So I did!

Enjoy.

**10. Frei vs Bayern Munich**

Lovely move, beautiful finish. Like something the Arsenal may cook up. Lovely from Basel.

**9. Messi vs Copenhagen**

Normally known for his jinking runs, this is just a belter. Nicely laid off for Messi and given time to shoot, he picks his spot perfectly. Magnificent finish.

**6. Michel Bastos vs Hapoel Tel Aviv**

A rattling strike from the assured left foot of the Brazilian. It’s unstoppable.

**5. Nani vs Bursaspor**

It’s hard to accept yourselves as whipping boys when people keep scoring these sorts of goals against you. Nani is really coming into his own with strikes of this quality.

**4. Matheus vs Arsenal**

Matheus stunned Arsenal when Braga scored two late goals to beat the North London outfit, the second taking the biscuit. Immense goal. See them both below.

**2. Zahavi vs Lyon**

A beautiful overhead kick to finish what was a fantastic move from a counter.

\[youtube TTPADvQ3nGE\]

**1. Gareth Bale vs Inter**

To do this against Morecambe would be impressive, to do it against the European Champions? Immense.
