# Tottenham: Corentin Tolisso links re-emerge

**Tottenham have once again been linked with a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso, [Kicker](https://www.kicker.de/tolisso-beissen-tottenham-oder-inter-an-4000000040747/transfermeldung) report.**

### The Lowdown: Summer links…

Tolisso is into the [final year](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/corentin-tolisso/profil/spieler/190393) of his contract with the German giants and has made just [eight](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/corentin-tolisso/leistungsdaten/spieler/190393) appearances during the current campaign.

The 27-year-old, labelled as [‘dangerous’](https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/bayern-muenchen/so-toll-ist-tolisso-wirklich-52207642.bild.html#%23%23wt_ref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bild.de%2Fsport%2Ffussball%2Fbayern-muenchen%2Fso-toll-ist-tolisso-wirklich-52207642.bildMobile.html&wt_t=1637263455222###wt_ref=https%3A%2F%2Fm.bild.de%2Fsport%2Ffussball%2Fbayern-muenchen%2Fso-toll-ist-tolisso-wirklich-52207642.bildMobile.html%23%2523%2523wt_ref%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fwww.bild.de%252Fsport%252Ffussball%252Fbayern-muenchen%252Fso-toll-ist-tolisso-wirklich-52207642.bild.html%26wt_t%3D1637263455222&wt_t=1637309037610) by Jean-Pierre Papin, can play as a defensive, central or attacking [midfielder](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/corentin-tolisso/profil/spieler/190393) and was [linked](https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/transfer-news/tottenham-tolisso-tanguy-ndombele-transfer-21371406) with a move to Tottenham over the summer.

Rumours emerged that the [World Cup winner](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/corentin-tolisso/erfolge/spieler/190393) could have moved to Spurs before the 2021/22 campaign began, with Tanguy Ndombele moving to Munich, however, as we know, a swap deal never materialised.

### The Latest: Kicker’s report

Reports from German outlet [Kicker](https://www.kicker.de/tolisso-beissen-tottenham-oder-inter-an-4000000040747/transfermeldung) on Thursday morning linked Spurs and Inter Milan with a fresh move for Tolisso.

Tottenham chief Fabio Paratici [reportedly](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/bayern-monaco-decisione-a-sorpresa-per-tolisso-la-juve-ha-un-pia-55577) spoke to Tolisso and his representatives, with the midfielder a big fan of Paratici.

### The Verdict: McKennie alternative?

Another midfielder who has been heavily [linked](https://www.fourfourtwo.com/news/tottenham-transfer-news-spurs-face-tough-battle-for-juventus-weston-mckennie) with a move to north London is Juventus’ Weston McKennie, and the two are similar players. \[[FBref](https://fbref.com/en/players/652d4c37/Corentin-Tolisso)\]

Should Spurs explore a cut-price deal for Tolisso in the winter window and secure a pre-contract agreement ahead of the summer, they’d be getting a versatile international midfielder valued at [£13.5m](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/corentin-tolisso/profil/spieler/190393) for nothing.

He also has plenty of [Champions League experience](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/corentin-tolisso/detaillierteleistungsdaten/spieler/190393) and will have a winning mentality due to his plethora of [honours](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/corentin-tolisso/erfolge/spieler/190393), so he could be an excellent addition to bolster Antonio Conte’s midfield [options](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/tottenham-hotspur/kader/verein/148) in his preferred [3-5-2](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/antonio-conte/profil/trainer/3517) system.
