# Tottenham desperate to keep in-demand midfielder at the Lane

**Still celebrating THAT win over Chelsea, one that blew the title race wide open, the Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern remaining dancing in a state of delirious delight.**

Crucial to that win was a certain Dele Alli, who has proved mightily impressive over the last few weeks, having notched two good headers against the Blues to condemn them to defeat at the Lane.

So, reports from the [Daily Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/01/05/precocious-dele-alli-turning-heads-tottenham-have-no-need-sell/) have further delighted our north London locals.

They [claim](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/01/05/precocious-dele-alli-turning-heads-tottenham-have-no-need-sell/) that, while top European clubs are tracking the 20-year-old, Spurs are truly determined not to sell the England international.
