# Tottenham fans sure to love Levy’s latest apparent transfer message

**Once again, the Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern have been waxing poetic about Dele Alli since their weekend win.**

Having led the side to a 2-0 win over Newcastle United in the season opener, the 21-year-old once again proved just how much of a difference maker he can be at the top level. Which is exactly why reports from [the Sun](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/4259299/tottenham-dele-alli-daniel-levy-barcelona-man-city/) have gone down so well.

They [claim](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/4259299/tottenham-dele-alli-daniel-levy-barcelona-man-city/) Daniel Levy has told potential suitors Barcelona and Manchester City that the England star WON’T be sold at any price. Indeed, even if a £150m offer is made for the former MK Dons youngster, Spurs will [reportedly](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/4259299/tottenham-dele-alli-daniel-levy-barcelona-man-city/) snub it.

Neymar recently broke the world transfer record at £198m in his move from the Camp Nou to PSG, while Monaco sensation is [understood](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/4259299/tottenham-dele-alli-daniel-levy-barcelona-man-city/) to be valued at around £160m. With that in mind, Levy is [believed](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/4259299/tottenham-dele-alli-daniel-levy-barcelona-man-city/) to see no reason why his playmaker can’t be considered in the same bracket.

One of the most exciting talents in Europe, our Tottenham-mad punters are desperate to see him stick around for the long run, having seen the club sell top talents over the years.

**Landlord’s Verdict:**

Surely an offer of such ilk would change Levy’s mind. Breaking a world transfer record would be huge, especially for a man who they purchased for such little money from League One.

Levy drives a hard bargain, though keeping the European powerhouses away in the long run may prove too difficult.

**Thoughts?**
