**Tottenham are yet to make a major signing so far this summer, and naturally, that is a reality that will worry fans. However, it appears as though if the Lilywhites are able to land Anthony Martial, all may be forgiven.**

Over the last few days, the future of Martial has come under the microscope, with various reports providing an insight into his future at Old Trafford.

[Sky Sports have reported interest from across Europe and at home, with the like of Bayern Munich and Chelsea apparently keen.](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/11445473/anthony-martial-attracts-interest-from-chelsea-dortmund-and-bayern-munich)

[The Telegraph, meanwhile, has reported that Tottenham are also in the race – with the club apparently of the opinion that Martial wants to join them.](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2018/07/23/anthony-martial-will-not-forced-stay-man-utd-against-will/)

Naturally, this is big news for the club. Martial is one of Europe’s brightest young players, and he offers brilliant pace, directness and quality going forward. He’s still developing, though, and under Mauricio Pochetetino, that’s an exciting prospect.

Spurs fans have been quick to react to Martial online, and there is one common theme amongst most of the reaction – they want the club to sign him.

Take a look at what they’ve had to say below…

> So Martial is linked with [#Chelsea](https://twitter.com/hashtag/Chelsea?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw), [#BayernMunich](https://twitter.com/hashtag/BayernMunich?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) [#Dortmund](https://twitter.com/hashtag/Dortmund?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) as well as us. I think that takes us out the running, as we will never be able to compete financially with the others. Will be a miracle if we pull this one through [#COYS](https://twitter.com/hashtag/COYS?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) [#THFC](https://twitter.com/hashtag/THFC?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) [#Spurs](https://twitter.com/hashtag/Spurs?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) [#TTID](https://twitter.com/hashtag/TTID?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) [#TottenhamHotspur](https://twitter.com/hashtag/TottenhamHotspur?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)

> I’ve always rated him. Think he would flourish under Poch. Sadly, can’t see it happening.
