[![Hugo Lloris](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Hugo-Lloris--500x345.jpg)](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Hugo-Lloris-.jpg)Tottenham Hotspur fans have been given a bit of good news and they are in the Football Transfer Tavern celebrating.

That’s because, according to [talkSPORT](https://talksport.com/football/french-star-claims-he-will-stay-tottenham-140706100184), French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris will stay at White Hart Lane this season despite being linked with a host of top clubs.

Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco, Real Madrid and Premier League rivals Manchester City were all reportedly interested in the French number one.

But speaking after France’s quarter-final defeat to Germany, Lloris all but confirmed that he will be staying in North London in 2014/15.

“Yes, I should be \[at Spurs next season\],” Lloris told reporters.

“\[But\] I don’t want to speak about my situation now. I need a few days to recover and after that to relax, have a good rest and come back for next season.”

“I think I will speak soon about that and we will deal with it.”
