### The Latest: Crook shares latest…

The talkSPORT man claims that Spurs are indeed in talks for a loan move with negotiations ‘underway’.

He explained to [GMS:](https://www.givemesport.com/1820697-spurs-transfer-news-talks-definitely-underway-to-sign-20m-monster-from-pl-rivals)“I think Tottenham favour a loan with an obligation to buy so talks are definitely underway.”

### The Verdict: Get it done…

Now half way through the window, Spurs should wrap this up as soon as possible and get on to bolstering their [other three priority positions.](https://twitter.com/alasdairgold/status/1479435865822748680?s=21)

Traore’s plaudits from English top flight pundits highlight he could be a real snip if Spurs can agree a loan move, with Molineux legend Steve Bull calling him a ‘[worldbeater’.](https://www.footballfancast.com/wolves-news/exclusive-bull-labels-adama-traore-a-wrold-beater-e40)

As well as this, former Leeds man Noel Whelan believes the 25-year-old is a ‘player who could really excite the Tottenham fans’ – citing his pace and power among other strengths ([Football Insider](https://www.footballinsider247.com/tottenham-tipped-to-sign-very-exciting-kane-ally-after-bbc-update/)).

Averaging far more [completed dribbles per 90](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/140088/Show/Adama-Traor%C3%A9) than [any Tottenham man](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/30/Show/England-Tottenham) this season, we wholeheartedly agree.
