# Tottenham: Dejan Kulusevski expected to make swift return from injury

**[Tottenham Hotspur](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/tottenham-hotspur-news/) forward Dejan Kulusevski is expected to make a relatively swift recovery from injury after returning to Hotspur Way from international duty with an issue, according to Matt Barlow of the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-11273011/Damaging-Arsenal-defeat-gives-chastening-reminder-Spurs-limitations-Antonio-Conte.html).**

### **The Lowdown: International injury**

The 22-year-old had been away with the Swedish national team for the previous two weeks, having played a part in his country’s [UEFA Nations League clashes](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/dejan-kulusevski/leistungsdaten/spieler/431755) against Serbia and Slovenia.

Upon his return to his club, though, the winger [underwent a scan](https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/players/dejan-kulusevski-injury-update-tottenham-25133739) on his hamstring after feeling tightness in the muscle.

Deemed unfit for the north London derby, Spurs manager Antonio Conte [revealed](https://www.spurs-web.com/spurs-news/antonio-conte-shares-update-on-dejan-kulusevskis-injury-at-spurs/) that the player will need to undergo another MRI scan to discover the true extent of his injury.

Barlow reported for the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-11273011/Damaging-Arsenal-defeat-gives-chastening-reminder-Spurs-limitations-Antonio-Conte.html) on Kulusevski’s return to fitness, believing that the Swede could make a relatively quick return to action.

Following Conte’s previous uncertainty surrounding a possible lengthy spell on the sidelines for the 22-year-old, the journalist has stated that the winger is only expected to be out for at least two weeks after returning from international duty with that hamstring problem.
