# Tottenham Hotspur: Fabrizio Romano drops Christian Eriksen update

**According to Sky Sports journalist [Fabrizio Romano](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1352382952248926209), Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan appear to be at an impasse over agreeing a loan deal for Christian Eriksen – with the transfer guru dropping a message in this potentially major update on the saga.**

### Romano offers major Eriksen update

Writing on[Twitter](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1352382952248926209), the Italian reporter offered a bleak view on negotiations for Eriksen – detailing how both the Nerazzurri and Spurs are currently at an impasse in regards to agreeing a deal.

Dropping his message that there is ‘[no chance at the moment](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1352382952248926209)‘, it appears Daniel Levy and co have been dealt a potentially big blow in pursuit of the 28-year-old playmaker.

Romano claims that the Serie A giants are demanding Spurs or new contenders Leicester City to pay 100% of his salary ‘[or nothing](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1352382952248926209)‘ – with Inter apparently ‘[clear](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1352382952248926209)‘ on the terms of an agreement.

It is believed that Eriksen’s wages will be around [€4 million (£3.5m)](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1352382952248926209) after tax over the next six months – resulting in them taking a firm stance and declaring any suitor must pay all of it.

In this major development, Spurs’ likelihood of re-signing their ex-star may have taken a hit – but only time will tell whether Levy decides to pay 100% of the attacker’s bumper take home.
