# Tottenham Hotspur: Fans displeased after links with AS Roma’s Cengiz Under

**Tottenham Hotspur fans were displaying their displeasure after the club was linked with a move for AS Roma man Cengiz Under.**

According to internethaber.com [(via Calciomercato.com)](https://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/spurs-sevilla-keeping-tabs-on-roma-winger-cengiz-uender-23124), the north London outfit are interested in a move for the Turkey international ahead of a potential transfer in the January window.

However, Spurs aren’t the only club looking to make a move for the winger with Spanish side [Sevilla](https://romapress.net/2019/12/24/tottenham-sevilla-interested-in-under/) also said to be interested.

Under has enjoyed a fairly underwhelming campaign with the Italian club so far this season, scoring just one goal and assisting one in 10 appearances across all competition [(via Transfermarkt)](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/cengiz-under/leistungsdaten/spieler/341647).

His 2019 has been hampered by fairly serious fitness issues with the 21-year-old having [suffered four separate muscle injuries](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/cengiz-under/verletzungen/spieler/341647).

Injuries mixed with the [brilliant form of Lorenzo Pelligrini](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/lorenzo-pellegrini/leistungsdaten/spieler/286297) has seen the Turk settle for a bit-part role with the Italian outfit.

Fans were left feeling less than happy with the news the club could make a move for the Turkish-born player as they took to Twitter to react.

Here is a selection of tweets from the north London faithful:
