# Tottenham Hotspur: Fans fume as Jose Mourinho organises small training session

**Jose Mourinho organised a small training session with a handful of his Tottenham Hotspur players on Tuesday, as reported by Evening Standard journalist [Dan Kilpatrick](https://twitter.com/Dan_KP/status/1247589389229871104).**

According to Kilpatrick, the Portuguese held a 1-on-1 session with Tanguy Ndombele on Hadley Common in Barnet, whilst Ryan Sessegnon and Davinson Sanchez were jogging together but separately to the session. However, a photograph has since emerged of all four together ([Ricky Sacks](https://twitter.com/RickSpur/status/1247622706977275904)).

Mourinho’s actions go against government guidelines to stay at home, with the world currently in the middle of a pandemic which has forced football, amongst many other things, to shut down.

The ex-Chelsea boss has since accepted that it wasn’t in-line with the government’s advice and claimed that it is ‘vital’ that we all now follow the protocols to protect the NHS and save lives ([Dan Kilpatrick](https://twitter.com/Dan_KP/status/1247851857738948608)).

Many Spurs fans were extremely unimpressed with Mourinho for organising the session, with many taking to Twitter to slam him. Here is what some had to say…

> ah well, I guess we’ll have to sack him. I can live with that.

> This sets such a bad example. I’m utterly ashamed of spurs right now. First the wage scandal and now this!

> Sets a terrible example. Shocking move. The rules are simple and to see such high profile members of our staff involved is embarrassing.
