# Tottenham Hotspur: Fans on Twitter couldn’t get enough of Lucas Moura after instant impact

**Tottenham may not have deserved a point against Manchester City on Saturday after mustering just [three shots to the home side’s 30](https://www.skysports.com/football/man-city-vs-tottenham/stats/407996), yet they came away with a 2-2 draw after Lucas Moura popped up with a timely equaliser.**

The Brazilian needed just 19 seconds after coming off the bench to replace Harry Winks before he put the ball into the net with a header from a corner after climbing higher than Kyle Walker in the Manchester City penalty area.

It was a moment that was ultimately topped by the VAR controversy at the end of the game, but it saw Tottenham travel back to north London with a point, and the Brazilian deservedly picked up an 8/10 rating from [Football.London](https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/fixtures-results/spurs-player-ratings-moura-kane-16772847) for his performance at The Etihad.

The Lilywhites were in dreamland, as you can quite clearly see, when Lucas scored, and it’s now up to the player to force his way back into the starting eleven.
