# Tottenham Hotspur: Fans react to Adrien Rabiot transfer link

**Tottenham Hotspur have taken concrete steps towards signing Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot in the January transfer window, that is according to a report from Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport via [Ricky Sacks](https://twitter.com/RickSpur/status/1214683267980578822).**

However, it is thought that the Italian champions do not want to lose the 24-year-old without being able to bring in a replacement for him.

The Frenchman only joined the Serie A outfit in the summer, signing from Paris Saint Germain on a free transfer.

But he has struggled for minutes in Turin and has only started six games in the league and just two in the Champions League ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adrien-rabiot/leistungsdaten/spieler/182913)).

Spurs are thought to be on the lookout for a new central midfielder this month after Moussa Sissoko was ruled out until at least April with injury ([tottenhamhotspur.com](https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/2020/january/moussa-sissoko-injury-update/)).

Rabiot would fill that void and he is a player who could give them more control in the middle of the park, indeed he has an average passing accuracy of 91% this season whilst he also has defensive ability and averages 2.1 tackles per game ([SofaScore](https://www.sofascore.com/player/adrien-rabiot/250737)).

However, despite this it seems that lots of Spurs fans wouldn’t be too keen on signing the French international, with some pointing to his attitude as a reason why – last year he claimed that Tottenham were below his level when linked with a move ([ESPN](https://www.espn.co.uk/soccer/soccer-transfers/story/3740233/tottenham-are-below-psgs-adrien-rabiot-source)).

Here is what some supporters had to say on Twitter…

> No thanks. Don’t want his attitude in the locker room.
