# Tottenham Hotspur: Lilywhites fans slam Eric Dier after Leeds United display

**After Tottenham Hotspur’s ambitions to qualify for the Champions League took a major blow this afternoon, succumbing to a [3-1 defeat at Leeds United](https://www.sofascore.com/leeds-united-tottenham/IsJ), many Lilywhites supporters proceeded to take aim at defender Eric Dier.**

The 27-year-old, playing in front of England boss Gareth Southgate, endured a horrible afternoon in Yorkshire as Spurs take a big dent in their quest to qualify for Europe.
