[talkSPORT are today reporting](https://talksport.com/football/tottenham-transfer-latest-fredy-guarin-still-option-spurs-after-rejecting-fenerbahce-move) that Tottenham still very much have a chance of signing 29-year old midfielder Fredy Guarin who is looking set to be on the move away from Serie A side Inter Milan.

This comes after the Columbian international, who played a pivotal role in their world cup campaign, reportedly r[ejected the chance to join Turkish outfit Fenerbahce.](https://talksport.com/football/tottenham-transfer-latest-fredy-guarin-still-option-spurs-after-rejecting-fenerbahce-move)

With Guarin’s agent also [confirming](https://talksport.com/football/tottenham-transfer-latest-fredy-guarin-still-option-spurs-after-rejecting-fenerbahce-move)there has not been any contact with Juventus, Spurs could well find themselves at the top of the pecking order if they put in a high enough bid.

Our landlord here in the Transfer Tavern likes the idea of this one: “They have got rid of a fair few midfielders now, Guarin is real quality and what they need”.

A small group of Spurs fans completely agree with the landlord, and feel Guarin’s experience can only be a beneficial for the club as they try and cement place in the top four of the Premier League next season.
