Tottenham Hotspur are still thought to be keen on signing Wolves winger Adama Traore, with Antonio Conte a big fan of the Spaniard.

The Lowdown: Traore's Wolves career

Described as a 'game-changer' by Noel Whelan, the winger has been on the books at Molineux since 2018 but will be out of contract in the summer.

The 26-year-old has made 168 appearances for his current employers, 14 of which have come during the 2022/23 campaign.

He has netted twice in recent months to take his senior career goal tally to 20, and with the January transfer window just around the corner, Spurs have been linked with a move for him once again.

The Latest: Spurs still interested in Traore

90min provided an update regarding Traore’s future on Friday, in which Spurs were named.

The report claimed that Tottenham retain an interest in the forward, with Conte a big fan of Traore. However, Spurs face competition from abroad, with some clubs preparing pre-contract offers for the 26-year-old.

The Verdict: Never ending…

It seems as if Fabio Paratici and Daniel Levy are eyeing up a move for Traore but don’t want to spend big, which is totally understandable given his contract situation.

Spurs have been heavily linked with the 26-year-old since Nuno Espirito Santo's brief time in charge in N17, with speculation continuing over the last 12 months.

Reports earlier this year suggested that Tottenham were close to a £20m deal, so it’ll be interesting to see how much Spurs would be willing to pay in the New Year and how keen Conte is on signing the Spain international.
