Tottenham: Spurs monitoring Manor Solomon

Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Shakhtar Donetsk winger Manor Solomon, who is currently on loan at Fulham, according to a recent report.
The Lowdown: Conte planning rebuild
Antonio Conte is seemingly aiming to strengthen several key areas of his Tottenham side this summer, prioritising bringing in a left-sided defender, with Clement Lenglet’s future at the club considered uncertain.
Spurs have been linked with new signings all over the pitch, with Emiliano Martinez on the radar to replace Hugo Lloris, while Romelu Lukaku has also emerged as a potential replacement for Harry Kane, should the 29-year-old decide to leave.
Improving in wide areas does not appear to be one of Conte’s main objectives in the summer, but Spurs could still make a move for Fulham ace Solomon…
The Latest: Solomon monitored
According to a report from Y Net (via London World), the Lilywhites are monitoring the winger for a potential move this summer, with Arsenal also said to be weighing up a deal.
It is detailed that the player himself is keen to make his stay at Fulham permanent at the end of the season, indicating he desires to stay in England, meaning Spurs could use the allure of playing European football to tempt him into a move.
The Verdict: Get it done?
The Israel international was not able to make an instant impact at Craven Cottage due to a knee injury, which ruled him out of 17 games, but he has really started to come into form since returning to the first-team picture.
In his side’s last three Premier League games, the 23-year-old has featured off the bench, scoring in each one, most recently netting a second-half equaliser against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Reporter Peter Ruzler has hailed Solomon as being a ‘game-changer’ for the Cottagers, with his recent performances indicating he could have a similar impact at Spurs, where he would most likely be playing second fiddle to the likes of Son Heung-min and Dejan Kulusevski.
Other members of the media have also lauded the winger as being ‘super-talented’, and so Tottenham should continue to monitor his performances for Fulham during the remainder of the season.
