Inter Milan star Hakan Calhanoglu 'could soon be tempted' by Tottenham Hotspur and manager Antonio Conte, according to reports.

The Lowdown: Spurs seal two Jan signings...

The January transfer window is now over with Spurs, in their bid to clinch a Premier League top four place, sealing two winter signings in total.

Right-wing-back Pedro Porro joined from Sporting CP on an initial loan which will be made permanent, meanwhile Netherlands international Arnaut Danjuma also joined on a temporary deal.

Conte couldn't see every Spurs position strengthened quite yet but reports are now stating that the Lilywhites have already started to look towards further additions later this year.

The Latest: Calhanoglu could be 'tempted' by Tottenham...

According to Calciomercato Web, Turkey international Calhanoglu 'could soon be tempted' by the north Londoners.

The playmaker, if Conte decides to extend his deal at Spurs, may be one of the requests of Tottenham's manager come the summer transfer window.

It's believed that Inter could even have another Ivan Perisic or Milan Skriniar situation on their hands.

The Verdict: Make the move...

The 74-cap attacker has proven that he can be a forced to be reckoned with - both at club level and on the international stage.

For Turkey, Calhanoglu has been an ever-present in their squad over the last ten years and ever since he made his debut in 2013 - going on to captain his nation whilst scoring 17 goals in total (Transfermarkt).

For Inter, the 29-year-old has consistently stood out as one of their key attacking players with only Lautaro Martinez ranking higher in terms of average match rating this Serie A campaign (WhoScored).

Scoring two goals and assisting five others in 20 appearances this season, Calhanoglu also averages more key passes per 90 in the final third than any Inter player (WhoScored).

If Spurs wish to add a creative presence, who has also been called 'absolutely sensational' for his passing range by members of the media, then Calhanoglu stands out as a prime candidate.
