Tottenham Hotspur podcaster Chris Cowlin has taken to social media as manager Antonio Conte is officially nominated for a Premier League award.

The Lowdown: Conte's side fly out the blocks...

Spurs, under the guidance of Conte, have built upon their top four finish from last season by starting this 2022/2023 campaign with a flourish.

The Lilywhites enjoyed a brilliant summer transfer window, sealing the signings of Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma, Richarlison, Clement Lenglet, Djed Spence and Destiny Udogie - as well as a permanent deal for Cristian Romero.

Conte has repaid Spurs' backing by leading his side to an unbeaten league start, winning four and drawing two of their last six outings.

The Latest: Conte nominated...

Now, as officially announced, Inter Milan's former boss has been nominated for the Premier League Manager of the Month award for August.

Taking to Twitter, podcaster Cowlin has raved over the news, going on to claim it's 'fully deserved' and Conte has 'transformed' Tottenham since taking over from Nuno Espirito Santo.

He stated: "Fully deserved. This magician has transformed our club! Onwards and upwards! Nice one Antonio."

The Verdict: Well earned...

Conte has almost single-handedly changed the fortunes of Spurs whilst instilling real positivity at N17.

The dismal Nuno era seems like a long, forgotten memory with the Italian also recently guiding Tottenham to a Champions League group stage victory over Ligue 1 giants Marseille upon Spurs' return to the competition for the first time since 2019/20.

If the north Londoners can continue in this vein, their supporters will be in for some very exciting months as the Conte era enters full swing.
