Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte has shared an update on winger Dejan Kulusevski's fitness ahead of their crunch clash with Man United.

The Lowdown: Spurs travel to Old Trafford...

The Lilywhites travel to Old Trafford tonight and a win could take them past Man City into second.

Antonio Conte's side are in solid shape heading to the The Red Devils clash, having lost just one Premier League game all season so far whilst conceding the second joint-fewest goals against (premierleague.com).

Only City and arch north London rivals Arsenal have scored more goals with Spurs flying high and, at the very least, aiming to a finish in the top four again.

Tonight's encounter with fellow Champions League qualification contenders United comes as a very crucial one and Conte will need every available star at his disposal.

Conte, speaking to the media, says the player is a doubt for tonight - explaining (via Alasdair Gold):

"Kulusevski is working. We are going day by day with him. I don't know about the game against Manchester United, the doctors are working with him."

The Verdict: Worry...

The 22-year-old has been brilliant when called upon at Spurs with only Harry Kane and Son Heung-min boasting better rates of shots at goal and key passes made per 90 (WhoScored).

Kulusevski has also completed more successful take-ons than any of his teammates on average domestically, highlighting his serious threat in the final third.

Called a 'non-stop machine' by Serie A expert Nima Tavallaey Roodsari, the attacker could be a sore miss if he is in fact unable to play a part.
