Tottenham Hotspur star Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has lavished praise on 'crazy' summer signing Richarlison, citing his efforts in training in particular.

The Lowdown: On fire...

The Brazil international arrived at Hotspur Way as one of many new summer signings in a major rebuild courtesy of manager Antonio Conte and sporting director Fabio Paratici.

Richarlison was joined by Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma, Clement Lenglet, Djed Spence and Destiny Udogie as new arrivals at N17 with the club also sealing a permanent deal for star defender Cristian Romero.

Looking to build upon their top four Premier League finish from last season, Conte will be ecstatic with some of the former Everton star's brilliant performances - most recently grabbing a brace in Tottenham's 2-0 win over Marseille.

The Latest: Hojbjerg makes 'crazy' Richarlison claim...

Speaking to SpursPlay, via talkSPORT, Hojbjerg has claimed that Richarlison is 'crazy' in training and has lavished his South American teammate as 'amazing'.

He explained:

“Richy is amazing. I don’t know how to say it but I’m happy that he is playing for Spurs.

“Training with him as well or against him, fantastic boy, fantastic mindset, crazy but in a good way."

The Verdict: Great news...

Going by Hojbjerg's comments, Spurs' new star appears fit the Conte mould of a fiery, hard-working player who always delivers to the best of his ability - whether that's on the pitch or in training.

As evident by his starring role in their Champions League group stage victory on Wednesday evening, Lilywhites supporters could be about to see a new fan favourite emerge at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Richarlison has already grabbed two assists in just 167 league minutes and it appears he is determined to make his stay at Spurs a successful one.
