Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly one of the clubs interested in signing Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

The Lowdown: Spurs' transfer track record

Since Fabio Paratici and Antonio Conte took their respective roles at the north London club, the Lilywhites have seen numerous players make their way to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium from Italy.

Figures such as Rodrigo Bentancur, Dejan Kulusevski and Ivan Perisic have swapped Serie A for the Premier League in recent transfer windows.

Now though, it appears that Paratici has set his sights on signing another player in Italy that is currently in Qatar for his country in the World Cup.

The Latest: Spurs eyeing Rabiot

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Tottenham, as well as Chelsea and Arsenal, are interested in signing Rabiot.

The report also adds that Paratici is a big admirer of the player and could look to secure a deal for him.

The Verdict: A useful signing for Spurs

Across the 11 Serie A appearances he's made for Juventus this season, the £150k-per-week Frenchman has scored three goals and delivered two assists.

In addition to his goals and assists, only two other players at the club have made more passes into the final third of the pitch than the 27-year-old (32).

With only one midfielder having a higher combined total of tackles and interceptions than Rabiot (33), this backs up why former Juventus player and manager, Andrea Pirlo, described the France international as a "complete player".

The midfielder got his World Cup tournament off to a flying start as he scored in France's 4-1 win over Australia, as well as making five tackles in the game.

Taking all of this into account, if Spurs and Paratici were to secure a deal for Rabiot in the near future, this could give Conte a very capable midfield option in his squad.
