Flocking to Twitter, some Tottenham Hotspur fans have voiced their frustration at midfielder Dele Alli in response to footage released by the club.

Alli, who was largely omitted by former boss Jose Mourinho last season, has found his way back into a Spurs shirt regularly as new boss Nuno Espirito Santo hands him his chances to shine.

The England international has started all five Premier League games so far, completing the fourth-most completed dribbles on average out of any Spurs player (WhoScored).

However, in that time, Alli has bagged one goal and zero assists - with Spurs fans now voicing their frustrations following training footage of the 25-year-old.

The official club account shared a video of Alli performing a brief moment of skill and simply stating: "That is outrageous! I hope you got that one on camera."

In response, Lilywhites supporters weren't best pleased following a year of bit-part performances and being linked with moves away from the club.

Indeed, some fans believe it is time for Alli to start showcasing his potential on a more consistent basis - find all of their replies down below.
