Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane, is happier than he has ever been at the north London club according to Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge.

Back in the 2021 summer transfer window, the striker was linked with a move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with fellow Premier League side, Manchester City, interested in signing him.

The Englishman ultimately stayed at Spurs and it has since been reported that talks over a potential new contract will take place after the World Cup.

Now though, it appears that some details have emerged regarding Kane's current situation at the club.

The Latest: Kane happy at Spurs

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Bridge had this to say on the matter.

He said: "I spoke to a close person to him [Kane] a month ago and he told me he’s never been happier, so that’s another reason to be on the Antonio Conte bandwagon, because it is down to him."

The Verdict: Great news for Spurs

After ending the previous Premier League campaign as Spurs' second-highest goalscorer (17) as well as racking up more assists (9) than any of his teammates, the 29-year-old has shown just how important he is to the club this season as well.

Having scored 10 goals in the 13 league games he's appeared in, Kane, who will be looking to have a successful World Cup with England, has also completed more passes into the 18-yard box (21) than any other player in Conte's squad.

With an overall performance rating of 7.47/10 from WhoScored, only four other players in the division have higher ratings than the striker, who is currently set to see his current contract expire in the summer of 2024.

Taking into account what Bridge had to say about Kane and his current feelings at Spurs, this should be music to the ears of everyone at the club and fill them with a lot of confidence that the England international will eventually put pen to paper on a new deal in the near future.
