Tottenham Hotspur: Jose Mourinho shares ‘good news’ as Lo Celso expected to be fit for Chelsea

Writing on Twitter, journalist Charlie Eccleshare has relayed ‘good news for Tottenham‘ shared by manager Jose Mourinho – with the gaffer expecting midfielder Giovani Lo Celso to be fit for Spurs’ crunch clash against Chelsea this afternoon.
Lo Celso, who missed Tottenham’s 4-0 win over Ludogorets last Thursday, apparently picking up a knock, is now expected to be back for Spurs’ match against Chelsea – adding a different attacking dimension behind star striker Harry Kane.
Lo Celso boost
Both the Argentine and Tanguy Ndombele have been slotted into the attacking midfield positions by Mourinho as supporting options, with both players adding that extra degree of creativity in midfield as both Moussa Sissoko and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg guard the back four.
Spurs had to cope without the 24-year-old during their Europa League win, but he now could come in as an extra option as Mourinho prepares to face his former team.
Good news for #THFC, as Jose expects Lloris, GLC + Bergwijn to be back for Sunday
“I want to believe yes.” he said. Adds that they missed Ludogorets with “Little things. Things that if I wanted to push, if I wanted to risk a little bit they could do it.”https://t.co/yTwcPIbAic

Tottenham will be aiming to continue their fine run of form whilst usurping Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table – but the Blues could climb above them with a win this afternoon.
Transfer Tavern take
Given the points at stake, with barely anything separating Chelsea and Spurs at the top of the table, Lo Celso’s return could prove to be a huge boost to Tottenham.
The midfielder, along with Steven Bergwijn and Hugo Lloris, will be back to strengthen Mourinho’s side and inject some more quality into a side that is looking to continue real momentum.
