Tottenham Hotspur attacker Richarlison is reportedly being eyed by Real Madrid for a potential transfer.

The Lowdown: Richarlison's move to Spurs

Spurs signed the Brazilian back in the summer from fellow Premier League club Everton in a deal worth a reported fee of £60m.

Since then, the 25-year-old has made 15 appearances for Antonio Conte's side across all competitions, scoring two goals and delivering three assists in the process.

Having scored both goals in Brazil's 2-0 opening World Cup win against Serbia, though, it appears that the Spurs man may have put himself on the radar of one of Europe's biggest clubs.

According to a recent report from Spain, Real are looking to sign the Brazil star during the next summer transfer window after having missed out on signing Paris Saint-Germain attacker Kylian Mbappe.

The report also adds that Carlo Ancelotti, who managed Richarlison during their time together at Everton, already tried to sign the Spurs figure when he left the Toffees and returned to the Spanish club.

Spurs are set to ask for €100m–€120m - a fee isn't thought to be a problem for Madrid and one that may surpass Gareth Bale's move to as Spurs' record departure.

The Verdict: Spurs should keep hold of Richarlison

Despite not being a consistent goalscorer for Spurs in the league so far this season, the former Everton star has still shown he can be a useful attacking presence as only Harry Kane (1.62) and Son Heung-min (1.4) have a higher rate of shots on target per 90 minutes than Richarlison (0.82).

Given the impressive start he's had to the World Cup ahead of their second group game against Switzerland, it's safe to say that Conte and the Spurs fans will be able to hit the ground running when he eventually returns to north London and domestic football resumes.

Having been described as being an "outstanding" signing for Spurs by journalist Darren Lewis, we feel that the north London club should have no intention of letting the £90k-per-week player leave in the next summer transfer window.
