Tottenham Hotspur sources believe they will make one more marquee signing this summer after Destiny Udogie, according to Football Insider.

The Lowdown: Udogie set to join Tottenham

It’s been widely reported that the Lilywhites have agreed a £20m buy-to-loan deal with the Udinese for the left-back, where he is now set to undergo a medical whilst in Italy to finalise his move to the Premier League.

Once the move gets completed, he will become the club’s seventh signing of the summer, following in the footsteps of Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma, Richarlison, Clement Lenglet and Djed Spence, though the young full-back will return to Serie A on loan.

However, it would appear that Fabio Paratici hasn’t quite finished there.

The Latest: Spurs plotting secret signing

Football Insider report that Tottenham are ‘hopeful’ of ‘one other marquee signing’ after Udogie and ‘before’ the transfer deadline day.

The source states that the 19-year-old is ‘not expected’ to be the last major addition that Spurs make this summer, though who exactly that final signing is remains a secret.

The Verdict: Paratici's on fire

Paratici has been in overdrive completing some rapid and impressive business so far, and there’s no reason to believe that won’t continue.

Spurs were given an additional £150m investment as a result of securing a Champions League place last season, which has been put towards generating transfer funds, so the financial aspect of any future deal shouldn’t be a problem.

Having made a solid start to the new campaign, this combined with the ability to offer European football will make N17 a very attractive destination for any potential targets looking to make the switch before the start of next month.
