Tottenham Hotspur have kept fans in the loop after the club posted a photo of Harry Kane on Instagram.
The England striker has finally recovered from a hamstring injury and will be looking to continue his fine form when football returns later this month. The Lilywhites shared an image on Instagram of the Spurs talisman training at Hotspur Way and relayed an excerpt from an interview Kane gave to Tottenham’s official Youtube channel.
He told SpursTV: “From an injury point of view, I’m back to normal, fully fit. I’m feeling good, I feel sharp.”
Several supporters pointed out that he has clearly been putting in work at the gym during the nationwide lockdown.
The 26-year-old is the club’s leading goalscorer this season and he has scored 11 goals in 20 Premier League appearances for Jose Mourinho’s team so far. Indeed, Spurs only won three games in the league whilst he spent time on the sidelines recovering from injury.
Mourinho’s men are currently eighth in the Premier League, seven points behind Frank Lampard’s Chelsea in fourth, and the manager will be hoping that Kane can make an immediate impact when football returns behind closed doors later this month.
Spurs fans will surely be excited to see the forward return to action as the Premier League gears up for a return on June 17.
