Tottenham Hotspur defender Emerson Royal was a player 'possessed' against Fulham this afternoon, according to CBS journalist Chuck Booth.

The Lowdown: Spurs remain unbeaten...

Antonio Conte's side remain unbeaten in the Premier League after their latest victory with a 2-1 home win over newly-promoted Fulham.

Goals from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Harry Kane in either half gifted the Lilywhites another three points, sending them to up second in the table and leapfrogging English champions Man City.

Serbia international Aleksandar Mitrovic grabbed a consolation for the visitors but it was too little too late as Spurs continue their solid run of form under Conte.

The Latest: Emerson 'possessed' vs Fulham...

While there was no goal or assist for the marauding full back, Emerson has attracted praise for his energetic display on the right of Conte's back-five.

Journalist Booth of CBS Sports has raved over his performance, calling the Brazilian a player 'possessed' and drawing attention to his improved crossing.

He explained:

"Emerson Royal is man possessed today. Absolutely everywhere even spraying decent crosses."

The Verdict: Improving...

There have been question marks surrounding the 23-year-old and his end product over this last year so news that he is slowly improving in some attacking aspects will come as a major boost.

Right-wing back alternatives Djed Spence and Matt Doherty have barely played so far this season, perhaps displaying Conte's new-found faith in the South American.

Once heavily linked with a move away from north London, it will be interesting to see if the Brazilian now kicks on and becomes Tottenham's favoured wing-back option.
