Tottenham Hotspur are among the 'most serious' contenders to sign Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani.

The Lowdown: Muani in Qatar...

The World Cup attacker, who has barely played for France in Qatar, has been starring at club level for Eintracht in the Bundesliga so far this season.

Muani has 14 goal contributions to his name in just 14 league appearances (five goals, nine assists) with a number of clubs now taking note of his exploits.

He is reportedly set to command a marquee fee with Foot Mercato claiming he could cost somewhere around the €80 million (£69m) mark.

The Latest: Spurs among 'most serious' contenders...

According to FM journalist Santi Aouna, Antonio Conte's side are among the 'most serious' suitors for Muani as he attracts real interest from the Premier League.

Taking to Twitter, the reporter claims both Spurs and Liverpool are in the hunt for his signature and were already interested last year.

"Info: Randal Kolo Muani, holder against Tunisia, is the subject of many interests.

"Already interested last year, Tottenham and Liverpool are among the most serious courtiers.

"In Doha, many scouts came to supervise him."

The Verdict: Exciting talent...

The 24-year-old is still young and seems to be a very exciting talent.

As per WhoScored, Muani also ranks as Eintracht's best player by average match rating as well as their top goal getter - having also made more key passes per 90 and completed more dribbles than any of his teammates.

Called 'special' by members of the media, he would undoubtedly bring talent to Tottenham, but his price tag may be an issue.
