There is little chance of Tottenham manager Antonio Conte leaving Spurs and returning to Juventus this season, Italian journalist and 'insider' Rudy Galetti has claimed.

The Lowdown: Conte linked with shock exit

The Italian is doing an impressive job at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, guiding his side into the Champions League last season and currently sitting third in the Premier League in 2022/23.

Conte was once a hugely successful manager at Juve of course, and with Massimiliano Allegri not living up to the massive expectations in Turin and potentially on the verge of being sacked, a Conte homecoming has been all the talk in recent weeks.

Now, a key update has emerged regarding the situation - one that will ease Spurs supporters' fears.

The Latest: Galetti provides key update

Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Galetti claimed that Conte is going nowhere this season, despite the rumours suggesting otherwise:

"Despite the last rumours - to date - Antonio Conte to Juventus is a very cold track.

"The manager is only focused on the rest of the season with Tottenham."

The Verdict: Doesn't bear thinking about

Conte has been such an influential manager since coming in that his possible exit doesn't bear thinking about, during what is such an exciting time at Spurs.

The north Londoners have one of the world's best managers in their ranks and seeing him leave would not only have the potential to derail their season but finding an adequate replacement would be extremely difficult, while players' heads may be turned elsewhere too.

The hope is that Conte remains loyal and doesn't get tempted by a return to Juve, seeing Spurs as a more exciting project and looking to go far in the Champions League, as well as mounting a possible Premier League title bid.
