Tottenham Hotspur have an exciting unseen youngster with a 'really big future' in midfielder Tyrese Hall, according to expert John Wenham.

The Lowdown: Spurs academy flourishing...

Spurs' famed N17 academy has produced a wave of next generation rising stars in recent years, not least the likes of Oliver Skipp and Dane Scarlett.

The former has been called a future Spurs captain whilst the latter has drawn comparisons with Man United star Marcus Rashford, and that's not even taking into account the likes of Troy Parrott.

Recently, though, the Premier League side have lost names like Sam Amo-Ameyaw and Jayden Meghoma to clubs like Southampton due to the south coast side's faster track to senior first team football.

The Latesty: Wenham raves over Hall...

Speaking to Football Insider, club 'expert' Wenham has told Spurs supporters that they have another seriously exciting talent in Hall.

The 17-year-old is still unseen at senior level, having not been handed his first team debut yet, but according to Wenham, it may only be a matter of time.

“I really want to give a shoutout to Tyrese Hall.

“He is a 17-year-old midfielder who signed a pro contract with Tottenham back in October. The game against Norwich last week was the best I have seen him play.

“He was demanding the ball, passing first time and making some really positive movements. I am really pleased with him.

“I want him to settle in and really make that space in the team his own. I think he has a really big future at Tottenham.

“I was very, very impressed with what I saw in that game and I just want to make sure people know how good this kid is.”

The Verdict: Another gem?

Depending on the future of manager Antonio Conte and just how generous he will be with senior minutes for youngsters, Hall could well be one to watch out for soon.

Aspects of his game like 'demanding the ball' at such a young age indicate he could possess that leadership quality and composure which may prove invaluable at senior level.

Adding yet another exciting homegrown ace to the Spurs academy, it appears Fabio Paratici's team of scouts are really doing brilliant work behind-the-scenes.
