# Tottenham Hotspur: Some fans react to Davinson Sanchez keeping a clean sheet

**Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Davinson Sanchez played the full 90 minutes for Colombia as they drew 0-0 in a friendly against Chile.**

Both Duvan Zapata and Alexis Sanchez picked up injuries during the game, as per [**Calciomercato**](https://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/worry-for-inter-and-atalanta-as-star-players-get-injured-on-inte-63015), but Spurs were, understandably, putting their focus on the 23-year-old’s performance:

Many of the club’s fans were surprised to see that Sanchez had been involved in a clean sheet, with Spurs only having kept one in the Premier League this season – during the 4-0 victory over Crystal Palace – which is a game the Colombian wasn’t involved in, as per [**Transfermarkt**](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/davinson-sanchez/leistungsdaten/spieler/341429).

One fan has suggested this comes as a consequence of Sanchez put in more effort for his national team, while others have merely given up on the idea of him replicating that in a Spurs shirt.

A selection of Twitter reaction to the update, including posts from surprised Spurs fans, can be seen below:
