# Tottenham Hotspur: Spurs fans upset that PSG are linked with Danny Rose

**Some Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to voice their anger and frustration at reports that Paris Saint-Germain are the front runners to sign Danny Rose ([Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11675/11765794/tottenhams-danny-rose-interests-paris-saint-germain)).**

It was [recently revealed](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/jul/17/tottenham-omit-danny-rose-from-asia-tour-to-explore-opportunities-with-other-clubs) that the England international would not be travelling with the rest of the squad for their pre-season Asian tour in order to give him time to ‘explore opportunities’ elsewhere.

The left-back signed for the Lilywhites for just [£1million back in 2007](https://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/t/tottenham_hotspur/6916683.stm) and the north London outfit have now [supposedly put a £20m price tag](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11675/11765794/tottenhams-danny-rose-interests-paris-saint-germain) on the former Leeds man.

Rose has made 198 appearances for Tottenham and contributed a [total of ten goals and 27 assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/danny-rose/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/50174) during his 12 year period at the club.

If he is to leave then the Champions League finalists are reportedly looking at Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon as a potential replacement in what could be a [£25m deal](https://www.footballinsider247.com/revealed-tottenham-now-confident-of-signing-player-for-25m-next-week/).

But several fans of the club are simply not happy with the rumours regarding Rose and are concerned in particular that £20m is not enough for the 29-year-old.

Here is just some of the reaction:
