# Tottenham Hotspur: The sight of Maurizio Pochettino pleased some supporters

**It’d be fair to say it’s been an eventful week at Tottenham Hotspur.**

Mauricio Pochettino was sacked on Tuesday with former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho brought merely hours after to the surprise of the footballing world given his previous comments on Spurs, before the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ led them to a dramatic 3-2 victory away at London rivals West Ham United.

While things ended sourly for the Argentine in North London, the social media images of [him leaving a note](https://twitter.com/jesus_perez/status/1197634397178155010) for his former players at the training ground as he didn’t have time to say goodbye to them all saw plenty of fans react [emotionally](https://twitter.com/jesus_perez/status/1197634397178155010), his impact on the club is there for all to see.

Indeed, Mourinho [spoke](https://metro.co.uk/2019/11/21/jose-mourinho-tribute-mauricio-pochettino-first-tottenham-press-conference-11195574/) of how the former Southampton boss is always welcome to return to say hello as it is ‘his training ground’ but that offer, along with the memories, won’t all be that’s left of his time in charge.

That’s because his son, Maurizio, is currently playing in the club’s youth team and his inclusion on the bench for the U19s clash with Olympiakos earlier today had some eagle-eyed fans on Twitter talking.

Clearly a nice reminder of the man who gave the club so much, here’s a look at how some of the fans reacted.
