# Tottenham Hotspur: These fans are confused by Paulo Dybala transfer report

**There can often be confusion surrounding transfers, but there isn’t normally too much contradictory reporting at this stage of the season, with some light rumours floating around.**

However, this is not the case with Tottenham Hotspur and Paulo Dybala, with [**Ricky Sacks**](https://twitter.com/RickSpur/status/1173941839218511872) having pulled together two sources regarding the story, which seem to go against each other:

> \[[@TuttoSport](https://twitter.com/tuttosport?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)\] | Tottenham Hotspur are expected to rival Man Utd for Paulo Dybala in January.
>
> \[Corriere Torino\] | Juventus now want to offer Dybala a wage rise from €7.5M (£6.7M) per year to €10M (£8.9M), extending his contract by an extra season from 2022 to 2023.[#THFC](https://twitter.com/hashtag/THFC?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) [#COYS](https://twitter.com/hashtag/COYS?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) [pic.twitter.com/AuaDT0pWXu](https://t.co/AuaDT0pWXu)

As he has reported, [**TuttoSport**](https://www.tuttosport.com/) state that Spurs are set to rival Manchester United for the Argentinian, while [**Corriere Torino**](https://torino.corriere.it/) are claiming he could be set to stay in Turin.

This seems to have left many Spurs fans with more questions than answers, regarding whether they are set to sign the 25-year-old.

What could give cause for intrigue is that of Juventus’ first three league games, Dybala has managed just 14 minutes, which came in the 4-3 victory over Napoli, as per [**WhoScored**](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/114863/Show/Paulo-Dybala).

A selection of Twitter reaction to the report, including posts from confused Spurs fans, can be seen below:
