As per [WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/75/Show/Italy-Inter), the South American star bagged a brilliant 21 goals and three assists in Serie A alone last season whilst attempting the most shots at goal per 90 of any Inter player.

Martinez also finished 21/22 as Inter’s [third-best performing player](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/75/Show/Italy-Inter) by average match rating and the Lilywhites potentially making contact to sign him imminently comes as quite exciting.

The Nerazzurri are thought to be in a position where they might have to sell their star striker and we believe Paratici should certainly take full advantage.
