# Tottenham Hotspur: Agent reveals Juan Foyth will make a decision on his long-term future

**Juan Foyth’s agent has suggested the Tottenham ace will make a decision on his future when the Premier League season finishes.**

Foyth has featured just twice for [Jose Mourinho](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/juan-foyth/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/480763/plus/0?saison=2019&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=GB1&pos=&trainer_id=781) since the Portuguese replaced Mauricio Pochettino as Spurs boss last November. The Argentine, who was once considered a [Mauricio Pochettino](https://www.footballinsider247.com/tottenham-to-tell-argentina-international-to-find-a-new-club/) prodigy, has fallen out of favour with his successor.

Earlier this month, [El Dia](https://sportwitness.co.uk/22-year-olds-departure-tottenham-practically-done-entourage-analysing-offers/) claimed that his representatives are considering offers from a number of clubs amid interest from Barcelona, Leeds and a couple of Serie A teams.

His agent Claudio Curti has now provided an update on his client’s future in north London, [via Passione Inter](https://www.passioneinter.com/esclusive/esclusiva-lagente-di-foyth-a-fine-anno-parleremo-con-il-tottenham-inter-grande-club-ha-la-personalita-giusta-per-giocarci/), as per [Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/evaluate-best-solution-agent-says-player-take-decision-tottenham-future-season/). Curti told the Italian outlet: “We are currently waiting for the season to be completed. Then we’ll talk to the club \[Tottenham\] to evaluate the best solution for Juan.”

[The versatile defender](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/335107/Show/Juan-Foyth), who can play at centre-back or on the right flank, has struggled for game-time this season.

Indeed, he has only played [seven times](https://www.footballinsider247.com/would-be-great-signing-exclusive-whelan-reacts-after-leeds-agree-22yo-personal-terms/) up until now, including four appearances in the [Premier League](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/335107/Show/Juan-Foyth), and finds himself below his teammates Davinson Sanchez, Eric Dier and Toby Alderweireld in the [pecking order](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jose-mourinho/eingesetzteSpieler/trainer/781/plus/0?saison_id=&verein_id=148&liga=&wettbewerb_id=).

While Foyth has largely failed to convince Mourinho so far, he is still an experienced professional and Marcelo Bielsa has contacted Pochettino to discuss [the Argentina international](https://www.footballinsider247.com/bielsa-gets-leeds-united-advice-from-pochettino-on-signing/).

The defender’s compatriot has a history of developing [young talent](https://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/sport/football/leeds-united/latest-leeds-united-news/graham-smyth-what-makes-marcelo-bielsas-mix-youth-and-experience-just-right-blend-leeds-united-996324) as he has transformed Leeds by giving players like Kalvin Phillips a chance to prove themselves.

[Recent reports](https://www.ole.com.ar/futbol-internacional/inglaterra/foyth-leeds-bielsa-tottenham_0_1DSytrGwx.html) have implied that he is on his way out the door despite suffering [a knee injury](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/11903227/tottenham-juan-foyth-knee-injury/), and this may benefit Mourinho in the end. Even if Bielsa can’t convert Foyth into a top-class defender, the Portuguese may be able to recoup some funds if the club attach an option-to-buy as part of the deal.
