# Tottenham poised to open talks to complete £15m signing

[![lukaku](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/lukaku-500x341.jpg)](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/lukaku.jpg)There could well be a switch across London happening this summer and we in the Football Transfer Tavern cannot wait to hear who [Metro](https://metro.co.uk/2014/05/08/tottenham-ready-to-open-transfer-talks-with-chelsea-over-romelu-lukaku-4721701/) think it will involve.

According to the publication, it will be Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku who could well be on the move, with Tottenham Hotspur keen on adding the 20-year-old to their ranks.

Lukaku is not only wanted by North London side Spurs but also by Everton and there have been constant links with a move abroad as well.

We think that Chelsea and Blues manager Jose Mourinho will be willing to sell Lukaku who has excelled on loan at Everton this term – but will not take anything less than £20 million.

One of our punters points out that the Blues will demand even more should the striker enjoy a prosperous World Cup with Belgium.

Spurs will only be willing to offer around £15 million at the minute but over a pint we discuss the fact that negotiations are only just beginning and the more clubs that join the race for the ex-Anderlecht forward, the more the price will be driven up.

### **Is £15 million too little for Lukaku? Will Chelsea end up keeping the star? Let us know your thoughts below.**
