# Tottenham star casts doubt over his White Hart Lane future

[![eriksen](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/eriksen1-500x363.jpg)](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/eriksen1.jpg)There is some pretty worrying news for Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Football Transfer Tavern courtesy of the [Daily Star](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/374172/Christian-Eriksen-casts-doubt-over-his-Tottenham-future).

The publication have claimed that Christian Eriksen has cast doubt over his future at the North London club, and that has worried a fair few of our regulars.

The Andre Villas-Boas signing has shown his skill and ability this season, and has been one of the bright sparks in a dire season for the Lilywhites.

Now the Danish international has spoken about claims he could well seek a move to a club who are in the Champions League, and he claimed: “I’m incredibly happy that they seem happy with me.

“I am very glad that they like what they see.

“Of course I have a dream and a secret plan in my head. But I keep it to myself. Right now I live in the moment and enjoy the success I have.”

Quite what this secret plan is remains to be seen, but as one of our regulars notes, it is probably something that involves playing in white and calling Gareth Bale a team-mate.

Tim Sherwood looks set to be replaced in the summer, and we think that who the new manager is could go a long way in determining Eriksen’s future.
