Lilywhites transfer chief Fabio Paratici will apparently hold talks in Italy with the former Chelsea boss on summer transfer plans soon with the likes of Alessandro Bastoni, Gleison Bremer, Djed Spence, Christian Eriksen, James Ward-Prowse, Kalvin Phillips and Gabriel Jesus all on a 'list of potential targets'.

A reserve goalkeeping option is also on the agenda as Conte attempts to sign Southampton and Premier League shot-stopper Fraser Forster on a free, coming as Atalanta loanee Pierluigi Gollini is set to make a return to his parent club upon the expiry of his temporary Spurs deal.

The Latest: Forster offer accepted...

According to Football Insider, backing other claims, soon-to-be free agent Southampton keeper Fraser Forster is 'set to sign for Tottenham' after 'accepting their contract offer' pre-summer.

Spurs, it is claimed have 'moved to tie up a deal quickly' for the colossal shot-stopper who is set to leave St. Mary's Stadium on a Bosman deal at the end of June.

The Verdict: Good news...

Given Daniel Levy's matter of solving Spurs' homegrown quota, tipped to a be real issue, signing Forster for free kills many birds with one stone.

The Englishman's arrival will go some way to balancing Tottenham's homegrown books whilst also providing them with a solid number two and back-up to Hugo Lloris.

Forster has recently earned favour with Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate and his end-of-season top flight form even earned him a place in March's national team squad over West Brom ace Sam Johnstone.

Ex-QPR keeper turned pundit Paddy Kenny even raved over the 'fantastic' and 'incredible' keeper in recent months, backing how his signing may well be a shrewd one for Conte and Tottenham.
