The Lowdown: Dejan dazzles…
The Sweden international has enjoyed a phenomenal time in the Premier League with Spurs, whose manager Antonio Conte will be eagerly awaiting his return from injury.
Kulusevski has dazzled in the forward areas under the Italian when available over 2022/23, currently ranking in Tottenham’s top three players for shots at goal, key passes made and completed dribbles per 90 (as per WhoScored).
The 22-year-old appears to have a huge ceiling and looks to have been a real capture since his loan-to-buy move from Juventus at the beginning of the year. As such, reports have suggested that Kulusevski joining Spurs permanently is all but inevitable.
The Latest: Spurs set for eight-figure Kulusevski move…
Indeed, claims from Italy late on Monday night have now shared the latest on Kulusevski and his future at Hotspur Way,
It is believed that the money for the Juventus starlet from Spurs ‘seems guaranteed’, and that cash is deemed ‘important’ for the Old Lady and their own transfer plans.
Calciomercato claim that Spurs are set to pay €35m (£30m) to sign the winger permanently with sporting director Fabio Paratici set for the in-house agreement.
The Verdict: Get it done…
As previously explained, Kulusevski’s electric numbers highlight just how exciting an option he can be for Conte, whether that be as a starter or from the bench.
The youngster has drawn huge praise from the English press since his move from Serie A, with pundit and former Spurs goalkeeper Paul Robinson dubbing him “such a threat“, and it’s safe to say that the transfer has been a match made in heaven judging by the Swede’s performances so far.
